GL Solutions welcomed Imisa Rivera, unit supervisor for the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, to our office this week. Imisa traveled to Bend to conduct in-person user-acceptance testing (UAT) for a GL Suite system scheduled to go live later this year. The Connecticut agency will use the weapon-tracking and background-check system to prevent people who should not have weapons from obtaining them. Connecticut engaged GL Solutions to design the system in response to the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy.
