The Center for Internet Security (CIS) recently released a document to help states prepare for the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Wash. Medical Commission’s Research on Clinicians with Subsequent Disciplinary Actions

Calif. DOJ Data Portal Still Down After Breach

The California Department of Justice web portal, OpenJustice, remains offline after personal data related to concealed weapons applicants was exposed in June. The data breach involved anyone who tried to get a permit to carry a concealed gun in the state during the past decade. According to Government Technology on July 15 the California Attorney General’s Office confirmed “that the office’s OpenJustice web portal — a repository for annual statistics on everything from the number and types of crimes and arrests to the geography and jurisdiction of police-force incidents and deaths in custody — will remain offline indefinitely as a full-scale review of the office’s technical services, policies and procedures continues.”
