License to Work: A National Study of Burdens from Occupational Licensing looks at factors such as exam fees and the number of exams, along with days lost for education and experience requirements. According to the study from the Institute for Justice, Nebraska ranked lowest for average burdens, requiring 114 days of education and experience, one exam and $92 in fees.
