2024 National Occupational Licensing Database Unveiled

The Knee Regulatory Research Center just released their annual licensing database for 2024. The KRRC announced in December the availability of the Annual Licensing Database Snapshot: 2024 for public download. The snapshot provides information on the “scale, scope and specific requirements” for occupational licensing in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. For each state, for example, view the requirements for each licensed occupation, including degrees, fees and education. The 2024 database offers updates on the 50 existing professions already in the database—started in 2023—plus adds 27 new professions.

The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy released additional regulatory changes for non-resident pharmacy licensure. According to JD Supra on December 18, the updated regulations impose some new requirements for Massachusetts-licensed pharmacies; these include changes to reporting requirements and provisional licenses. 6 Key Items for State’s Digital Accessibility Roadmaps

The Department of Justice’s final rule on state government website accessibility took effect in June. After evaluating a state’s digital accessibility, focusing on an accessibility roadmap comes next, according to Route Fifty on December 18. Some of the core elements for that roadmap include goal setting and stakeholder engagement. “Engage with government agencies, nonprofits and vendors who specialize in digital accessibility. Reach out to advocacy groups and individuals with disabilities to foster inclusivity and ensure diverse perspectives are considered and reflected in your roadmap.”
